The European Golf Business Conference returns to Amsterdam in November
(07 novembre 2007)The European Golf Business Conference (EGBC) returns to Amsterdam in November, bringing together golf industry experts from across the world – and we invite you to apply for media accreditation to hear what they have to say.
The conference will be of interest to any media covering the business and/or financial side of the golf industry.
Hosted by the European Golf Course Owners Association (EGCOA), the 2007 conference is at the five-star Renaissance Hotel from November 28-30.
The EGBC is aimed at golf course owners, managers, directors of golf, suppliers, representatives of professional bodies, suppliers, golf course architects and industry partners.
The specialists have been recruited from across the globe, to offer their thoughts and insight on the development of golf across nine separate sessions.
Premier speakers include Ruffin Beckwith, a director of Golf20/20 – a stakeholder initiative to grow the game of golf in the USA; Bruce Lucker, the co-founder of IloveNY; Alan Stalcup, a golf marketing specialist from the USA; and KPMG’s Andrea Sartori , who will present the latest golf benchmark results.
Mike Tinkey, the deputy chief executive officer of the National Golf Course Owners Association (NGCOA), will advise on pricing strategies with a view to future survival. And the professor of turf science at North Carolina State University, Charles Peacock, will be imparting his knowledge of the importance of sustainability of the golf business.
In addition, Mark Adam, a former president of the European Institute of Golf Course Architects (EIGCA) will look into the future of the sport.
